The Balinese bathroom: the spa spirit at home
A bathtub hollowed out of stone, a river-pebble basin on a teak vanity unit, a large mirror with an organic frame: the Balinese bathroom turns an everyday moment into a ritual. Every piece is made or carved in Bali, to your measurements.
Real pieces, photographed at our craftsmen's workshops
Natural stone and teak: the Balinese pairing
The signature of a Balinese bathroom is the contrast between natural stone — monolithic onyx or lava-stone bathtubs, hand-polished river stone basins — and the warmth of solid teak, naturally resistant to moisture. It is the same wood used for boat decks: it lives very happily in a wet room, provided it is properly dried and finished — which our agent checks in the workshop before shipping.
Made to measure, around YOUR constraints
A vanity unit is built around your existing plumbing: exact width between two walls, height of the water supply, single or double basin, offset trap… Send us your measurements or your bathroom plan, and the craftsmen will make a unit that fits to the millimetre — something no high-street furniture ever will.
Complete the set
Teak-framed mirrors, brass hooks and matching accessories are made in the same wood and the same finish as your vanity unit. See also our made-to-measure teak furniture for the rest of the house, or go back to the full catalogue.
