Made-to-measure solid teak: a noble material, to your dimensions
A 3-metre table for the whole family, a sideboard that runs the length of the living-room wall, a floor-to-ceiling walk-in wardrobe: if it can be drawn, our Balinese workshops can make it in solid teak — new or reclaimed — to the exact dimensions of your room.

Why teak, and which teak?
Teak is naturally rich in oil: it resists moisture, insects and time — it is the wood of boat decks and of furniture handed down through generations. Our workshops work with plantation teak and reclaimed teak (old Javanese houses, bridges, railway sleepers), with its inimitable weathered grain. In both cases, the decisive point is drying before manufacturing: that is what our agent checks in the workshop, because furniture made from poorly dried wood will crack in a dry or air-conditioned climate.
From drawing to furniture
Send us a sketch, a plan or simply an inspiration photo with your measurements: the craftsmen design and build it, and our agent sends you photos of YOUR piece while it is being made. For spectacular single-slab tops, see also our suar and live-edge tables.
Solid teak doesn't forgive approximate drying: that is why we only work with workshops that saw and dry their own timber.
How does it work?
Everything is made to measure in the workshops we have selected in Bali: your dimensions, your wood, your finishes.
